Let me let you in on a little secret: this is Charli’s home. Trial and error were plentiful here; we went back and forth with how much modern and how much true mid century to use, but we eventually found a happy medium. We created a space that truly felt like home to Charli and her husband.
And they lived happily ever after until their dog was sprayed by a skunk.
This room is our favorite room. It was originally a garage-converted boring bonus room with cream walls, tan carpet and one side door. We transformed the space by replacing the carpet with stained concrete, knocking out dry wall and adding french doors with side lights. We finished with a fresh coat of white paint, and of course a navy blue ceiling, because why not?
